Miles Taylor is a pretty incredible guy. If you didn’t already know this about Miles, it’ll certainly become apparent in our discussion. With courage and moral fortitude, Miles put his career and even his family’s safety on the line to safeguard American democracy.
Thankful as I am for that, I owe him an extra debt of gratitude for seamlessly handling a technical snafu like a total pro when I suddenly dropped from the video in the middle of our conversation. (The phone I was using to record the video overheated and shut down without warning.) When I managed to rejoin the video minutes later, I found Miles expertly holding down the podcast without me.

Our “honor of a lifetime” to “keep this republic alive”: Miles spoke of the privilege and duty that Americans have right now — and why our current moment facing down a “pro-dictator movement” is more significant than the period following the 9/11 attacks on the US

If the Democrats are going to have a shot at taking control of the Senate in the midterm elections, they must keep Donald Trump and MAGA from flipping Michigan’s Senate seat to red.
The Democratic party is rallying around its nominee, Dr. Abdul El-Sayed (whom I had the privilege of hosting on The Debrief). Some of my fellow Jewish Americans, meanwhile, are fearmongering against El-Sayed. That’s unfortunate, but what’s worse is that some do so while claiming to represent our community.
Andy Levin is a proud Jewish Michigander and the scion of a Michigan political dynasty. He lost his Congressional seat in a primary contest in which AIPAC spent millions against him. He’ll speak with us about Jews standing with Abdul El-Sayed — and against MAGA.
